How I Want To Be Evaluated By Evaluators (My Classmates) During Simulated Teaching

For the simulated teaching, I wanted the evaluators to evaluate me based on the five stages of the evaluation criteria which is my preparation of the lesson, pre-presentation/set induction, pre-reading, while-reading and lastly through my the language when teaching the lesson. In the preparation stage, I want the evaluators to focus whether I give the details of the lesson accurately to the students, my specific objectives is appropriate with the lesson, and if I prepared the worksheets appropriately and whether I give clear step by step details for the activities the students will do during their lesson. Then, in the set induction stage, I want the evaluator to focus if my set induction is interesting, the instruction given by me is clear and if my set induction is relevant to the topic of the lesson. While in the pre-reading stage, I want the evaluators to focus if the extract I choose for the lesson is at the appropriate length, my instructions is clear with accurate grammar and if the task is within the students’ ability. Furthermore, in the while-reading stage, I want the evaluators to focus if the task that I have prepared for this stage is related to the pre-reading stage, it is within the students’ ability, and whether I’m giving the clear instructions to the students and the worksheets I’ve prepared for the students is useful for the learning tasks. Lastly, I want the evaluators to evaluate me based on the language that I used throughout the lesson, whether my voice is clear and loud enough for all the students to hear, also if I made any grammatical errors and using an interactive language while speaking to the students.

Great. Atikah has provide me with complete instruction on how to evaluate my classmates on their teaching. This can be used as a 'survival kit' on my teaching days itself as I can refer to this to reflect my own teaching.
